From Texas-sized 2 Tiny House For Three

A Constant Work In Progress

Here’s a new way to look at our #tinyhouse : unfinished projects.

We ran out of time to complete all the details on our tiny house before we had to move to #Colorado, but we did make it live-able before we left #Texas. We decided to first focus on making the house comfortable and functional for day-to-day living before tackling the multitude of “finish work” projects with the plan that each time we visited Texas we’d bring more supplies back. Now I’m compiling a list of all the stuff left to do (way more than I’d like!) so we can make pull lists of the items we’ll need to dot the i’s and cross the t’s.
In between our Texas trips we’ll also work on the jobs that can be done with local supplies, too. We aren’t in any real rush, thankfully, but we do want to be done before we start traveling with the #THOW. It’d be much nicer to focus on the experiences than continuing smaller construction projects, that’s for sure!

And now, I leave you with a Dr. Suess inspired poem about our yet-to-be-completed tiny abode:

Would you, could you live in a tiny house unfinished? Could you, would you even if your motivation diminished? I do not like these things to do, I do not like them – nor would you!
